Microsoft Team integration not authorized

We have a number of services in PagerDuty that have integrations successfully configured in MS Teams. However we have noticed that some of these will occasionally become “unauthorized” with a PD card in MS Teams saying…
Team xyz is no longer connected to PagerDuty

We have had maybe 4 or 5 of these in the last couple of weeks.

Is this normal behaviour? i.e. is there a timeout period, whereby the connection has to be manually re-authorized?

Thanks
Chris

Hi Chris,

Our Microsoft Teams integration does have an authorization token that expires after a period of time. Each team will have a different token and thus a different token expiration date meaning the need for multiple reauthorizations across the account will be expected.

The initial expiration time frame had originally been set to 62 days but has recently been upgraded to 5 years, so any recently re-authorized teams should be using the new 5 year expiration.

I hope the above helps!
